Jefferson began his career as an Executive Director and President in economic development, leading industrial site identification, targeted business recruitment, and incentive negotiations to drive regional growth. He later expanded internationally, launching a single-estate artisan spirits brand in Brazil, blending cross-border networking, niche market development, and distinctive branding.
Since 2021, Jefferson has served as an agent with Estes Bush Real Estate, where he focuses on development-forward land strategy—helping clients understand not only what their land is worth, but what it can become.
A native of Heidelberg, Mississippi, Jefferson holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administrationfrom the University of Alabama with a concentration in International Business. He is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and the University of Alabama “A” Club, and has served on the boards of the International Economic Development Council, Mississippi Economic Development Council, Mississippi Economic Council, and the Mississippi Manufacturers Association.
